move ur units forward

Hello,

On empire u can move units forward on the map using the arrows in the hud...
But on medieval 2 i cant find a thing like that... which makes it very difficult to keep your units in formation...

Is there a way i can do this? or use a mod to do this?
or can i do it with a button? (there are buttons for turning units clock wise and anti-clockwise)

Not possible.

Hold alt and move your units forward, that will keep them in formation.

if you create a group out of the units you want to keep in the same formation (ctrl+g, i think) you can then move them forward as a whole, if you select the group...

yes but they often change direction that way... anyway i will try to find the best way out

1.Put all your units in the exact formation you want to have...
2.Make sure none of them is in a group.
3.Select ALL of them.
4.Push Strg+1 (or Ctrl+1)
Now this group of units will remain in that exact formation always and there will be no direction-changes!
You can click somewhere on the terrain and drag the mouse to see the future position of the uints.
I hope thats what you ment...
