My personnal favorites are the [electric] guitar and the sitar.
The guitar is just a work of art, and a person with skilled fingers can produce the most pleasant sounds for the ears.
What is a sitar? An example of an artist who used it is George Harrison, who used it in songs such as Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown), Love You To, and Within You Without You. This instrument has an interesting sound to it, and I think it goes great with guitars.

Percussions, violin, electric bass, accordion and (I couldn't find the traduction for that word, but it's contrebasse in french, you know that huge bass thing).

Well, my Favorite has to be the guitar, acoustic & Electric. Another instrument I have become extremely interested in lately, and grown quite fond of, is the Mandolin. Even if you dont know how to play it, it produces a lovely melody.
If you do know how to play it however, it is very beautiful. I do want to purchase a sitar in the next 6 months though, It has an enchanting melody, and can "solo" quite well.

The Piano for it is the fullest of solo instruments (Not necessarily a "solo" as opposed to working in a group, but rather its ability to take care of most everything, being rythm, harmony, and melody all at once) . Organs are also very very wicked.
If you would consider a symphony orchestra to be the instrument of a conductor, than yes, that too is a very nice instrument.
I also like my saxophones, native flutes (be they asian or american or whatever, not so much the silver concert flutes)
guitars and synthesizers are pretty cool.
