Lucius looks over at Marcus.

The war is currently underway in Hispania...our enemy is the Lusitanians. The Proconsul of Hispania and our allies, the Celtiberians, who asked for our assistance, struck a decisive blow at the Lusitanians and their chieftain was killed by one of their own. Only the Consuls have the authority to send you to war...but I do not think they need anyone else since the morale of our enemy is shattered...they cower in their cities as we speak.

I know how you feel...I was in the military for 20 years, stationed in Greece. Retired from my Legate position and then took over my father's political work since he died. Politics was new to me.
