I'm curious whether Radcliffe can actually act.
I don't like the way he speaks in the Potter films, it sounds too pedantic and forced in my ears, so I hope that was on purpose to make everything clearly audible for kids and not his actual manner of speaking. Otherwise that will ruin my immersion.
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

Yeah I noticed that too, though it seemed to get better as the films went on - as did his acting in general. Hopefully experience has made him into a good actor and they aren't just relying on a scary plot to win us over.

I agree, I am sooooo going to see this! I almost never go out to see films in the "scary movie season" (Fall and Winter) but this one really caught my eye. I love these kinds of movies: creepy visuals, suspenseful and mysterious. Far better than "ooo scary thing, chop chop kill chop chop kill" kind of movies.

He seemed decent in December Boys, though I didn't particularly care for the film. All in all I am confident he can succeed without being Harry Potter.

I saw the play and liked it, so I'll definitely check this out.

Looks interesting, particularly if it's just Radcliffe on his own, it means he'll have to carry the film.
