invasion of edoras

Has anyone noticed how the player never gets invaded whilst playing as edoras? The AI on the other hand always does. Why is this? My personal theory is that my rapid expansion into nearby rebel settlements intimidates the AI, coupled with isengards apathy (they never declare war) they are just too scared to declare the invasion. Is there any way around this?

i had an invasion on edoras when i played as Rohan, but i kind of wanted it to happen. Except for the fact that my army of Royal Guards were killed by two units of Mumakil.

You had an army of Royal Guards at the time of the first invasion, Edoras ? How did you pay those guys ? )

I face the apathy of Isengard as well, I play a hotseat campaign, playing for all good factions, it's turn 50 or 60, the first invasion has been beaten without problems (especially thanks to the Ents who anihilted two full invasion stacks, and "thanks" to Isengard that did not take part), Eriador is still out of the conflict and I use it's units to block the passages, bridges, roads, and Isengard really seems to be scared to do anything against Rohan, Eriador or the Elves. I don't want to agress Isengard, I am the 'good guy', am I not ? ) ...but my patience with them is running low )

The first invasion is always on edoras whenever i play no matter what good faction i am

Yup. My too. I just got one on turn 21.

I was invaded as when i plyed Rohan. Sauron called a crusade/jihad thing! Apart from that though there has been no other efforts to invade it seems Gondar draws all the heat!

Only had 1 campaign with Rohan so far. Guess I got lucky; they targeted East Osgiliath around turn 20 (gondor took it)

Well I'm around turn 150 as Rohan and I've gotten invasions on edoras like a dozen times by now...
