Yes you should buy it. You can't find it in retail locations anymore but you can download it off LEGAL game sites. I would recommend Steam (if they have it) so then you will already be all set if you ever wanted to play shogun2.

If you prefer to have a disc copy, it is still possible to buy disc versions of the game on Amazon.com. There are a number of sellers, for both new and used discs, as well as a number of different sets including the expansion BI, and anthologies which include both BI and Alexander expansions. I personally bought my first legal copy (yes...i must admit my first Rome Total War i ripped in 2008; my guilt forced me to eventually buy it) at a Gamestop for 29.99US which included both Rome Total War and Barbarian Invasion.
