Never played SS, but i'm gonna download it soon. Do you suggest it? Is it better than vanilla?

More challeging, more complex (but not complicated). It's a big download, but still worth it every MB, lol!
Serious questions? I mean i wouldnīt have spent plenty of hours translating just any mod. This is THE mod.
... iīve never played vanilla - but i know the answer for sure!

This one of the best mod.So yeah I indeed suggest it![]()
Is it harder in SS to get the late units than it is in vanilla? The reason I ask is because it is much harder to get citadels and huge cities.
I suggest a couple of blondes and a pool, but in the mean time yes SS.![]()
Shogun 2, no thanks I will stick with Kingdoms SS.
One of the good things about SS is the way you can customize your own game. BGR4 is awesome, but you can play without, RR is also optional.
An easy way to get Citadels is to use the AI. It's very hard on your own, you need a super governor to get there, but around 1300 (late era campaign), the AI fortresses meet the requirements. Capture one without sacking of course and you have your Citadel (right at the front line where you want them).
SS is how vanilla should have been![]()
You can expect everyone here to suggest you play it. It has more units, more factions, more buildings, more traits, better AI ............ so on and so on, definitely worth it
Well it is kind off like walking into an open bar and asking if they have something to drink there ^^

The only 'downside' to this mod is that it may take over all your free time and then some
Easily one of the best mods I have ever played for any TW game.
You must download it, for we have been blessed above all the nations of all the worlds to have found perfection here!
I mean, it's pretty cool dude![]()

if you prefer more vanilla feel in SS, simply toggle off RR/RC and BGR.
If you prefer some limit in the amount of "elite" units you see in battles, turn on RR/RC.
If you want some more challenge, toggle BGRII.
If you wanna experience living hell, turn on BGR4 as well as RR/RC, and try vh/vh campaign as a faction like lithuania or the crusader states.
On your PC, the units seem to perform quite poorly. I think there might be something nearby the PC that is causing this problem for you. You may need a mirror to find out what it is.
I think SS is recommended just on its strength of having fixes for the bugs found in vanilla version...
If you want to sample it and you're not an experienced player, you're better off starting on a short campaign with a faction like England... that is to say, well protected geographically.
Yes and yes though it is so much harder than Vanilla. So be mentally and emotionally prepared for defeat.
