Am I doing something wrong?

I started a campaign (my first ever). Installed 6.4, Really bad AI and settlement tweaks. I am playing on hard battles but find them ridiculously easy.

I don't think i'm a genius or anything, I might be doing something wrong. For example, even though I expect my Janites to wipe the floor with the Dessert Archers, I don't expect the dessert archers to be standing there looking at the horizon like they're pondering some greek philosophy while my janites are busy stabbing them all to death.

Maybe this is a bad example and I just need to play a little longer.

Anyway I'm confused about the AI interface. When I open the program, it asks me what I'm playing (Americas, SS, etc). So I select SS and chose my option then click OK.

Nothing happens... so I close the program and open SS 6.4. Should I have left Really Bad AI running as a separate entity? or was me clicking OK good enough to do something?

It isn't your fault that other countries draft all of their philosophers into their armies.

Other than to say that I'm just trolling, I don't know how to answer your question. I Just know that it's more likely to be seen up there.

i'd ask in g5's forum (found on the main mtw2 kingdoms page) but ok should of been enough i imagine....but im actually a bit confused by the question
