Can't install - cannot find kingdoms.exe

ok so this is my first post here, this is probably going to be all wrong, but yea..I need some help

i've downloaded CoW v 1.4 with the 1.01 sound patch and have installed it according to these directions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bMrBLLbxFk

Once installed the mod doesn't seem to find the kingdoms.exe when you start it up, even though its right there! I have third age 2.1 installed and that runs perfectly, and i've re-installed CoW like ten times doing it different ways and they all end up the same!

So if anyone can help me, please please let me know! this mod looks awesome

Two possibilities:

- you installed into the wrong directory (post the complete path to your mod, eg Med2\mods\warhammer)
- the BAT file points to the wrong directory (compress and attach your mod's BAT and CFG file)

I've just uninstalled it again in my attempts, to no avail haha, but i've got to get to work now, i'll get the path up when I get home tonight after I install it again.
Do you also want me to attach the BAT and CFG file?

Scrap that, turns out i'm not working..
path is Local Disk (C\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Call_of_Warhammer\Call_of_Warhammer

As suspected: wrong installation.
Fix: move the contents of the last warhammer folder into the first one - use 'cut' and 'paste'. You will have to create a new desktop short cut (right click BAT file, choose 'send to desktop')

Edit: the attachment was fine and the files in there were OK.

THANKS it worked can't believe I didn't think of installing it through that path in one of my reinstalls.
Now I just need to work out the english conversion, do you mind if this thread is kept open incase i've got any more problems? or should I just create a new one with and more problems?

I know it's shameless self advertising, but why don't you install this one? It's even available as a torrent, and it got the latest (1.4.4) files all included.
