How do I defeat Mordor

As the title says, how do I beat Mordor's army? Their army seems endless and almost unbreakable. As Eriador, I finished off Isengar, OoG, and OoMM. Now I am facing Mordor's iron army. I used the same tactic of hit-and-run archers on Mordor. But I ran out of time!

BTW, why is it that sometimes I get battle time limit and other times I get infinite battle time? Can I adjust it mid-campaign?

yes press esc while in campaign world map and go to settings (or options or something like that) and there is a little check in box that says *battle time limit* (or something similar) and uncheck it. that way you have unlimited time to do whatever the

you want

indeed, unlimited time is also in the menu before you start the campaign

yo change the time and ur tactic will work on them also,i speak from experience ,but nowdays just crash them with heavy infantry and cavalry of Gondor finest.. hehe

well for the battle what i do is put archers in front like the ithilien rangers, infantry in double lines behind and Calvary on the flanks, wait for the mordor forces to come close, fall back then switch your rangers to stand to fight and make your first line of infantry charge, then your second, make sure your Calvary are far back on the flanks and then come up behind the mordor army and usually the general is behind the army so charge at him then charge the back of the army, it works for me ; )

You mean cavalry. Calvary is a religious term.

Yeah this is late game isn't it? By then I've seen Mordor have 6+ full stacks just sitting around in the lands they've conquered this usually happens when they dominate Gondor and take all their lands. I don't have much advice for you though... You may just have to endure

I use Mordor armies to train my generals and troops. Unfortunately even releasing prisoners will result in some turns when you have no mordor armies to beat. They have serious orc production problems there it seems.
