    Default corruption as a code?

    Hi, just wondering if there's any code in the EDB or something which I could increase the corruption aside the capital distance, the game mechanic and character trait? Let's say for example, a 4th tier level market will have an increased of corruption.
    Regards.

    There is no mention of it in the docudemons and a full folder search for this word in the M2TW folder only turns it up in descr_misc and export_descr_advice aside from its incidental use in text entries (like trait descriptions, etc).

    descr_settlement_mechanics only makes one reference:

    Code:
          <factor name="SIF_CORRUPTION">
             <pip_modifier value="1.0"/>
    I don't see how this can be done.

    Ok, do public order affects the corruption in a certain way?

    That's a good question but I'm not sure how you would test it. I guess you could, while doing a play through, keep careful records of the settlement stats and note what buildings were added. I imagine that "law" bonuses, if anything, are the most direct counters to corruption.

    Ok, then I'll have to play a bit with public order coding. Won't have too much problem.

    it could be a number of things, but a higher tier market level may increase corruption anyway, because im fairly certain the more money the faction makes/richer it becomes, the more corruption increases!!

    i've noticed that with higher taxes, your generals traits will go towards corrupt quicker than with lower taxes, although with the lower taxes they still became corrupt as my faction became much richer!!

    but ofcourse this doesn't meen that law/public order bonuses dont play their part also!

    have you looked at the trait triggers, to see what triggers the corruption in generals?

    Piety affects corruption; it is/was a carry-over from RTW's management.
