Quite a vague title. How do you take off the mouse cursor, flags and the little green triangles (whadda they called?) that are under the units.

just open up preferences.txt in the main Rome-Total war folder. change a few of the options to FALSE rather than TRUE. i cant remember the exact wording but its obvious.

I have RTR v6.2 on it though, if that makes any difference.

I will intrduce to you the wonders of data\preference\preferences.txt! That file will allow you to do all that, look for the following lines:
SHOW_BANNERS:TRUE <<<< change to false
DISABLE_ARROW_MARKERS:TRUE <<<<<<this will be set to FALSE in your file, change it to TRUE
Im not sure if you can disable the cursor.

No, preferences.txt is the same for all games.
