alexander.exe troubles
Hi, because of the improvements related to the alexander.exe on difficult issues and that stuffs i decide to try it with the mod.
Unfortnly, i buy it a long time ago and the disc is damaged; i try many things to resolve, but nothing.
As i just want alexanders for playing the mod with that engine; and as i just have see on other topic that in order to play rsii you just need two files from the disc, i have one question related to that point.
The files were the alexanders.exe (the file that wheights about 15.mb i assume), and the chat_filter that should be copy, from the alexanders disc to the data folder.
The thing is that i cant find the chat_filter (damaged probably) file, and i just copy the alexanders.exe and start the game with that engine.
Is that allright? what are the consequences of no copying that file?
Oh, one more thing: i start the game, and it says patch 1.9, so thats a good sign i guess.
Add to that i start a battle and no shieldwall could be enable.
In any case, The AI behaviour, the retraining of units; the alexander engine to play RSII thats all what i want.
Thanks from now.

Re: alexander.exe troubles
If you have the RTW Alex exe in the folder that you set up to install RSII the install process should create the chat_filter.san file for you. For some reason the install I have has this file in the main game folder - my understanding is that it needs ot be in the data folder.
