Some of you may recall I had taken a leave of absence with testing due to my moving, marraige (planning sucks!), and honeymoon (TO GREECE!!!).
During that time I had been unable to do any testing and on top of that my video card died on me twice...so I couldn't if I found time.
My baby (Alienware M17x) had apparently had some other problems with the central processor on the motherboard. To sum it up...I got Alienware to replace everything, refund my videocard and pay for part of my upgrade to TWO Nvidia 280M (With SLI bridge) GPU's...BUT...in the process, they couldn't get the 2nd card to activate (also when they discovered the big problem on the motherboard). SO I HAD TO WIPE MY DRIVE CLEAN.
Well...I got her back, after sending to what an Alienware technician called "Our Delta Force"...to fix the problems (clean re-install of windows didn't fix it at first). I still don't know what they did to my baby, but she is purrrring like a kitten and seems to run better than new.
I now need to re-install EVERYTHING...so, I hope within a few days I will be back in business to help on some testing.
