Hi! I was wondering if BGR IV has any effect on battles... does it make the AI act better and not be such a poor adversary? I know the campaign game is a lot tougher but what about the actual battles?
Thank you!

No.
The Enemy of Human Souls
Sat grieving at the cost of coals;
For Hell had been annexed of late,
And was a sovereign Southern State.
Have you tried ReallyBadAI submod ? If not, you should give it a go

Just more resistant and therefore less likely to rout and therefore more demanding of a players' skill to defeat them.

Thanks. I'll try ReallyBadAI because I got tired of watching AI units with a ram just staying put at my fortress second gatehouse and getting killed by my archers... or the AI being scared of assaulting a fort badly defended and just going back and forward in front of the gatehouse (possibly because of 1 unit of hand gunners inside the fort ready to fire at everything that would engage my macemen... but still weird and unrealistic).
Are there any issues with ReallyBadAI?... because I could not read all 35 pages and just skimmed it a bit.
