Today, as I was playing Turks, the Byzantine Emperor Alexius (I think) came at Iconium with a full stack army. I had Sultan Jahal, and three spear militia, and we won, heroic victory, I'm even surprised I could pull it off(this was h/h). Unfortunately, the emperor himself did not die, and he retreated with quite a bit of his army. Later, a couple turns later, he comes back with another full stack army, but this time, it's on my Jihad to Constantinople; I catch him on the way. It's a field battle, and my army is basically six horse archers, two generals, and some jihading mercs. My six horse archers take care of his full stack; killing 900 or so of his 1144 army. Clear Victory, hot heroic, but the main thing is, I captured Emperor Alexius, and he was worth 10234(or so) for his ransom. For me, that is a hell of a lot. Enough about my boring story, but my question is this; what's the highest ransom you've ever gotten for a enemy general or family member? I encourage you to tell the story and an account of the battle i which you caught him.
P.S. They didn't accept their 10 star Emperor Back...LOL
Edit: I don't want the total amount of ransom; I only want what the General was worth.
