So after all the failures by CA...now I can't even go back and check my work on projects gone by because steam will not update and they will not update their software. Buying games through an online medium is a waste of time and money.

I'm not sure what this is doing here... were you around back during the days of yore in the before time of the internet being so fast and commonplace? I admit I had more fun making mods back then but still, patches? What patches?
