locked out of hotmail

basicaly my email adress has been spamming a load of people. its a common hack with hotmail i think. anyway, i changed my password and i think it stopped, but i changed it back and now its doing it again. i know the easy answer is to change my password but that will jsut get confusing. is there anything else i can do? thanks

edit: also, they have a system where you can unblock your account by emailing a code to a different account. well, aparently both are blocked!

Short answer - no. Your old password is compromised. Use a new one.
