Looks like Black Death event kicked in. If you want to save your FM/generals, the best bet is to pack them on your ships before the plague hit your lands. You should get the announcement it's coming.
Um... isn't the black death event around 1330? He said he's at about 1400 (Although I've only encountered it once so I'm not sure).
How many regions do you control? Getting the plague regularly is often a consequence of simply controlling many large settlements and the simple maths of it means you're bound to get it somewhere.
No, just put them outside the settlement.
And you get a warning that the plague is coming, so why has it taken you by surprise?
@ Hamsterkun
The reason for the routine plague outbreaks after the great plague is to mimic that even 400 years after the great plague there were many mini outbreaks of plague.

I'm control 53 regions and the year is 1344 ( turn 250 ) > and I thought the General catch the plague the same turn it happens![]()
Edit : The great plague event just happened ( turn 253 ) I guess it's because I control too many regions

Ah so your playing 2TPY then. That makes more sense then
If you are getting the plague regularly perhaps you need to develop more public health buildings to reduce frequency and length of the plague then.
