There might be tiny tweaks, but the Sanada's implementation is pretty much complete. It will be released in version 1.6 (check the bottom of the post for information).

And guess what? Not only are they in the game, but if you use the "Anegakoji.pack" from Mitch's "All Factions Playable" mod, you can actually PLAY as the Sanada-shi!
Just imagine diplomatic relations with the Takeda:
"YUKIMURA!" "OYAKATA-SAMA!" "YUKIMURA!" "OYAKATA-SAMA!" "YUKIMU- Wait, who the hell are you?"
The only thing that annoys me with adding such cool clans is that I feel much more obliged to play as them. I still need to finish my Ukita campaign. Naoie will bow to no-one by 1600 (even if he is dead...)!

Regarding the upcoming V1.6:
CA has set a release date for the Rise of the Samurai DLC as well as their big patch: the 27th (I'm not sure if that would be the 26th/27th or the 27th/28th.) Anyway, I too have set a due by date for the work for version 1.6. I intend to have everything done by the 25th. Once I have downloaded the patch, I'll ensure there are no game breaking changes and promptly release it thereafter. Do note that, while I am focusing on the main campaign of Shogun 2, I am very willing to expand to the Rise of the Samurai visual content!
