Alcoholic trait doesnt work ?

hi,
in my recent campaign ( kingdom of england, late era ) my faction heir got that alcoholic trait ( -3 command -3 authority, 5 penalty on tax income ). he has 1 command point, because of a promising commander trait. Since the alcoholic trait says -3 command, shouldnt he loose this command point ? Furthermore when i move him into my town the amount of tax income doesnt decrease, it stays the same... Looks like this trait doesnt work

they are alright, its just the alcoholic trait.

I mean does he have other traits and ancs affecting command etc.?

nope, hes got nothing that affects command or tax collection... the alcolic trait is correctly in my export_descr_character_trait, the social drinker trait actually works on another char.
btw im wondering about the great victor trait of my heir, it says No Effect and i cant find it in my folder ?

This is not something to be complaining about

It annoys the hell out of me when a perfectly good FM develops alcoholism, especial a leader or heir.

But seriously though, are you using BGR? There appears to some hidden command modifiers based faction zeal for that. Will be interesting to see if the authority penalty applies when he becomes leader.

I get drunks all the time and in towns with no Brothel, which annoys the crap out of me, one Sicilian king of mine though had so much Command, even that beyond battle, senile, alcoholic couldn't dent his full command rating, it was amazing, i used peasant armies against slightly better troops and they never broke
