    So I decided to make a change to a unit in the Dwarf roster, copying stats from another unit. When I try the units in a Custom battle they work fine but when I load a campaign or start a new campaign as the Dwarves I cannot recruit any units - the recruitment tab is empty of all military units. I've tried the other factions and none of them are affected.

    Is there a way to fix this without reversing my changes?

    Got another Unspecified Error on turn 74 of my Dwarf campaign - one that happens during rebel turn that always occurs. I am now including the log.

    There is nothing in the log indicating that it is the change to the unit that causes the crash. The script and EDB errors in there are unrelated and not fatal.
    The increase in offensive and defensive values should not cause the problem - the mental stat value does not appear too high either.

    I can not think of a reason why the unit would work in a custom battle and then cause a problem in the main game - at least not with the changes you made. The reason is probably somewhere else.

    A complete removal of units from the recruitment tab would indicate an error with the EDB. There is a small error in the log regarding the building of chaos temple 3 for faction egypt. Some continuity issue in faction requirements, but I don't think that is the issue here.

    I can give it a last try by having a look at your EDB and descr_campaign_db files, but I am not very hopeful.

    These kind of errors are the reason why I made my custom installation for CoW, too much 'loose stuff' in the original installation.

    It should also be noted that restoring the original EDU (from a backup I made prior to changes) does not restore the ability to recruit Dwarf units even in new campaigns.

    Now that you have fixed the virtual store issue, a simple re-install might get you going again. Did you apply the security setting for the base folder of M2TW and then deleted the Med2 content from the virtual store folder?
