[Medal] ferres for Opifex

Respected citizens today I bring forth one of the most old, respected and talented modders of our beloved community. His name is ferres

& I hereby propose that ferres be awarded the Opifex medal for his exceptional contributions towards Total War community. As per Section V Article II of our Constitution the nominees must fulfill the following requirements:

Opifex To qualify for an Opifex award, the nominee must have made exceptional input to TW sections of the boards, either by modding or other contributions related to the TW section. A member of any Rank is eligible to receive an Opifex award, but must also meet the criteria to become a Citizen. His nomination must also be seconded by an elected member of the Consilium de Civitate.

Qualifying nominees shall have their nomination posted in the Prothalamos and will be moved to vote as per the procedure in Section 2 Article 3. Once moved to they shall be voted upon for a period of one week and require a two-third majority of non-abstaining votes to achieve the award. If the nominee was not already a Citizen, this Rank shall also be conferred upon them if they pass. A nominee who fails to pass his vote is not eligible to re-nominated until three months have passed.

Yesterday while moderating

the RTW section i somehow stumbled upon an article which further lead me to his profile page there I read this not so old convo between Killerbee & ferres.

After reading it I was a bit shocked

that he didn't had it as i'm aware of his beautiful contributions. So i thought why not do the honors, I've always been a fan of 3D-modelers and having some experience in this field i know it requires a ton of time and relentless dedication.

He has made several awesome unit packs, some of the unit previews are shown below:

These awesome unit packs are complete sets, full with detail and variety. A standard unit from a pack consists of a fully polished 3D model (.CAS file, both High & low poly) made from scratch containing more than one texture variable (so that it can be used for other factions) with UI cards & Gloss maps as well.

And it's not just that, his units packs have been used by most of the famous mods for Rome Total War, he has never let down a mod team who contacted him to use them, showing his cool and generous nature. Because of such contributors TWC is what it is now, the most famous and resourceful website when it comes down to TW games.

Ferres is an excellent modder, his works are simply stunning and being myself a modder as well as an opifex holder, i can easily say that i respect it so deeply, the natural talent he got, the great ability who can be seen on his things done, the fact that he privilages the quality on quantity (exactly as i do by myself when im modding). I can conclude my speech saying that he deserves this award and im susprised he's not already an opifex

Indeed I thought he was already an Opifex! Obvious support is obvious!

His modding works - extraordinary. I don't know what his day job is but he could easily be at home creating units and modding at CA. He clearly puts a lot of hard work and effort into his work - just look at the quality he produces.

He has been doing absolutely stunning work and I think he would do only justice for the Opifex's quality standars. I still remember the day when I first saw his units... an easy yes from me. I support!

Oh, and I salute Ishan for the nicely written proposal.
