did you preview to do a new portraits for the ministery Austrian, English, Prussian or Russian

and your mod are adds characteristics at the French générals but they not wins a stars of competence, why ?

Isn't there some way to convert the .jpg files to .tga and just replace the vanilla files with new ones? The program calls the .tga portraits from somewhere. Can we get to that "somewhere"?

Some vanilla files are jpg, some are tga. If you really want to convert you can do it easily with gimp

How can I activate the mod ? Can you explain in details as I'm noob im using mods :p

Also two more questions ;
- is it possible to use this mod in Multiplayer campaign while the other player doesn't have this mod?
- This mod is compatible with other mods? I personally (sometimes) use Darthmod ?

1. Backup your original startpos files in folders:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war\data\campaigns\eur_napoleon

AND

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war\data\campaigns\mp_eur_napoleon

2. Place startpos (eur_napoleon) and startpos (mp_eur_napoleon) in their respective folders

3. Rename both files to simply startpos

4. Place MOD_portrait in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war\data

5. Navigate to C:\Users\your name here\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts

6. Select and copy “preferences.script”

7. Paste and rename “preferences.script - copy” to “user.script”

8. Open “user.script” and delete all entries

9. Enter the following command: · mod "MOD_portraits.pack";

10. Save & enjoy

1- No, since both players would have different startpos. Acutally, I'm even not sure it can be used if both are using it, I don't play multiplayer.
2- if the other mod changes the startpos, it won't be compatible, you'd have to manually report the changes from this mod into the other mod startpos

I am currently using the revised startpos files but it also contains unreleased materials made for MoE.
It seems the older version of startpos I've uploaded isn't working, so if anyone out there has managed to download a working copy of the startpos file(s) please, please, please can you upload them for us.

I don't know for the mod itself, but I still have all the portraits as they are included in MoE.
