How to install

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

1. Backup your original startpos files in folder:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war\data\campaigns\eur_napoleon

2. Unzip

3. Place startpos in eur_napoleon folders

4. Place MOD_portrait in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\napoleon total war\data

5. Play French Europe Campaign and enjoy

Legendary and iconic commanders including:
French marshals (Suchet, Oudinot, Bessieres, Lannes)
British generals (Cole, Picton, Uxbridge, Somerset)
Prussian, Russian, Spanish and Austrian commanders.

Like Napoleon, all generals cannot be killed in battle. They will respawn in the capital.

By the way, if anyone know how to make portraits work in the Coalition Campaign please teach me how. I'd like to make some Prussian, Austrian & British generals too.

I havn't done it myself, but shouldn't it be the same process as in the Napoleon campaign?

Yeah I thought so too (about the process). But funny enough the portraits didn't show up in e.g. Austrian Campaign I guess I must have missed something....

Btw I came across a historical general in ESF named Michael Stowell (British faction). I could not find a portrait of him on Google. Can anyone shed some light on this mysterious commander?

Any portrait of him will help alot, black & white, engraving, sketches....

Oh! I've found the thread, great. I will be downloading this shortly. I love how some of their faces are so disfigured, hehe! They're better than the scrunched up faces CA made! From what I've heard Michael Stowell is fictional. Whenever I play as the British I usually remove him. I'm really looking forward to future updates! I've been waiting so long for a mod like this and I tried doing it myself but failed. Please, please keep up the good work. Possibly make your own if you want?

Yes, it likely will clash with Napoleon Total Factions, unless you copy & paste my portraits directories into your existing NTF startpos. I'm hoping to release a portrait tutorial at the completion of this mod.

Magnificent work, my friend. Very speedy and very good. Why no one did this earlier, I do not know! I'll have to start a normal campaign at some point because at the moment I'm playing as the Republic of Italy. I wish I could contribute in some way by doing more politicians, gentlemen, etc.

Bastienleboss made an equally good mod too in here. But I was more concerned about aligning my work to CA's aesthetics and professionalism - same background, skin tones etc

Yes, I've seen those portraits before, I didn't download them simply because the aesthetics weren't very good. Yours, however, are magnificent!
