Reasons of weak Sassanian Infantry

I'm sorry if i offended anyone in my previous topic,after doing some research i could give the reasons why Sassanian field weak infantry. One of the reason is corruptions either most the money was gone to the pockets of the cavalrymen or the provincial governors and leaving a small sum for the infantry leaving them untrained and underarm. Second weak centralized government central government may give the orders to arm and train the infantries but to fully execute the orders is something different since centralization was weak thus most of the orders was either half accomplished or even worst never accomplished leaving the infantry weak and causes every enemies assume that they field weak infantry. Third lack of official record Sassanian seems to leave no clear record about the organization of the infantry they field and training method leaving it a difficult topic to study.

You didn't offend anybody its just that there is already a topic in the main forum about sassanid infantry and we didn't want to double post. May I suggest that you visit the thread I suggested previously.

Julianus, I am almost positive robyn is an alternative account by the user the persian immortal. Reasons - look at his post statistics, not natural, thus suggesting an alternative account. Same use of language as shown by tpi as well.
