Just a few questions

I had 2 questions:

1) can i remove the faith wars, well not remove but just turn down the heretic/witch spawn rate and power?
2) How highly do you recommend starting to play on BGR? I play on M/M but could easily play on H/M or VH/M (I autoresolve all battles).

Well, since you say you can manage VH/M, you could take on BGR IV and keep on playing on M/M as you are playing now. IMO BGR IV nocks up the difficulty about 2 levels (although it is kinda hard to make such comparisons), so it would be in a way similar to playing VH/something.

Also, you can try BGR II. It is considerably easier, and would only boost the difficulty about 1 level or so.

And yeah, make sure you read the BGR manual (especially if you are playing BGR IV), and perhaps browse the first few posts of the BGR thread in the submods section.

I autoresolve because i have graphics problems with SS and the battles take ages to complete especially before i got my heat sync fixed it would actually crash my laptop because of this. Thus i got used to just autoresolving battles, also being a university student in engineering i found it made campaigns take a REAL long time even on vanilla to do every single battle. Ill have to try BGR one of the next few days, anything about being able to tone down the heretic/witch thing a little bit, i get tired of having to priest bomb every area that has a heretic pop up, especially as a non-Christian faction without cardinals where you HAVE to train assassins which doesnt occur quickly in early era games...
