    Default Cuestions about video configuration

i have a couple of cuestions, if you may please:
when i upload my ati controllers a control panel appear. i read something about doing changes there better then in the game itself. I did it. The fact is there are a lot of options, i read something else, but i dont know; im confuse. So the question are:

    1. first, is it right?. 1.1 If is, what changes should i do, and what directory should i browse, the one of the launcher, of the engine, of the vanilla?; 1.2 If the answer is no, what i have to do in order to deactivate wathever change i made.

    2. should i use the beta controller which was reliased on august 2 (the notification get to me that day) for ati video cards.

    3. Concerning video configuration, on other thread i read that to have performance, i should:
3.1 unit detail: high; unit shaders on; antialising off; medium vegetation; low-res stuff. and what about the rest: shadows, glints, should i deactivate all of them?

My pc specifications are: amd phenom II X2 545 3.0 GHZ; 889 Geforce 7025/nforce 630a ; 2gb ram; directX 11(does it matter?); and concerning controllers im "testing" the beta ati controller.

And, i should mencionated i think, im having CTD every time i close the cam to a praetorian unit or to a naked fan.

    Thanks from now.

to stop the ctd, try turning off unit shaders in the RS2 launcher before starting the game, and see if that helps
