Stacking Merchants

I don't know if i'm just slow or if it's new in dlv, but i can make a full stack of merchants, in an army, on top of a resource and they will all trade that resource. I've never noticed it before, so now i have merchant-and army stacks together to protect my trade and military interests. I just want to know if any one else does this.

Yes, and its a huge exploit of a game flaw. So while not technically cheating, its considered such by most people and therefore avoided.

Honestly, I never even do the merchant-army thing, but that's just because I'm always at war with the people who have the most expensive goods (I play as Italian factions a lot, and German silver is VERY profitable. Also, gold and salt as Byzantium, though I tend to war with everyone in that case).
