Well it's over. I'll say it right now, the staff pressured me to do it. Yes, they threatened me with a long term ban because I passionately expressed my opinions regarding this Crandar matter. Yes I did flame, but it was out of justified frustration and disgust. Trust me, the true reason behind the threat against me was because I am against this whole thing. Farnan was not asked to leave.

So here I am. I decided to resign instead of being banned. At least this way I can put forth the real reasons behind my resignation. Unless of course, the staff censors me here as well.

As you all know, I was and still am passionately against the re-appointment of Crandar as staff. Already we have lost Seleukos, a great moderator and administrator because of this senseless behavior and nonsense. I'm sad to say that there might be more resignations later on.

It saddens and sickens me to see the senior staff behave in this way. It sickens me to see the senior staff betray the trust of the TWC community. They betrayed and back-stabbed the Curia and all of TWC. It's pathetic.

So that's it.

It's about professionalism. You are given a job and get on with it. Those two have acted... poorly and are clearly not fit to hold office. Crandar, well I have yet to meet him. why? All signs clearly point to the idea that Crandar is unfit to weild power. You gotta go with the flow, so far I havent seen (pretty much) ANY Crandar supporters voice their arguments for why Crandar should be given a second chance in a position of power. Obviously they feel like they have nothing to explain to the rest of us, they must feel like convincing us is low priority...

Which makes everyone even more suspicious of what the hell exactly is going on in the high levels of staff discussion. Why has nobody who supports Crandar come out to speak for him? and I dont mean just vague opinion, I mean facts and learned arguments for why Crandar should be given the benefit of the doubt.

I'm afraid that I can confirm that there was some pressure for H&G to resign, after some of his comments, which were unsutiable for a moderator.

Personally, I would be very willing to allow H&G back after he has been given a chance to calm down; whether the rest of staff will agree, I do not know.

when I tell you to STFU and stop with this idiotic war of words with H&G then I expect you not to immediately go and make another post which is close to flaming.

This is an official warning, do not do it again. I'll speak to Archer later about where this goes.

And for everyone else, the decision has been made for very good reasons that the junior staff are not aware of. Apart from the histrionics of my (probably former) sponsor, the senior staff are supporting this.

Please ignore the drama queens and focus on the fact that TWC will be better for this, and soon.

(oh and H&G, please don't take this as license to wind Farnan up, I'm not in a good mood at the moment).
