Default Teleklos Archelaou for Civitates (Patronizer: Asterix)

An contributor of knowledge and inteligence to the community, alas, often indirectly, he has taken me up on an offer I long ago presented to him because he wishes more involvement on TWC. Please award this contributor of knowledge and learning to the forums.

I first signed up for membership on TWC about a year and a half ago not too long after RTW first came out. I only played one campaign before I tired of the problems with factions like Egypt and the cartoonish skins and so became interested in RTR. Becoming more interested in the possibility of creating a voicemod for RTW I joined up with Shigawire to help and wrote translations in Latin and Greek for the voicemod battlefield and campaign map commands. I worked with Shigawire and the voicemod in conjunction with RTR, but I was not an RTR member at the time. When Shigawire joined EB in late December '04 (I believe), I was not initially interested, but then became more intrigued the more I read about what they were doing, and after a little longer I joined with EB as well. Since that time I've invested way way way too much time and energy into modding RTW, and I've been present on the TWC boards actively since then - mostly at first in the RTR voicemod threads and on their board before the move to their other site and of course also in the EB threads.

As for the particulars of my modding - I can't really say I'm any certain type of modder (not really a 'coder' or 'skinner' or anything - mostly a historian in my background), and I don't have a real title at EB besides being a faction coordinator, but I've done a lot of the 2D graphics for EB along the way (e.g., sig banners, battlefield banners, loading screens, some of their GUI's, their building icons and constructed images, etc.) and made the 2D 'antique' map for the mod. I have also done a lot of the building code and a lot of the work with governments as well as writing a lot of text - building descriptions, some faction descriptions, some Hellenic and Roman, traits, ethnicities, capture messages, etc., and handling most of the Greek (and some Latin) translation needs. I am more frequently present at the org than twc, but that is mostly because most of EB's work is carried on there on their EBH board. I do frequent the EB fora on TWC as well as often reading other fora here and although I'm a little snippy at times I don't think I've ever had any problems or issues here. I've been asked about civitates status a couple of times in the past, but always thought I wouldn't have enough time to invest. I may still have time issues as I have a full teaching load currently, but for numerous reasons I would like to try and participate much more than in the past here. - "Teleklos Archelaou"

Damn you to hell! I asked him months ago, and he turned me down. I'm a fellow EB member, I deserve his client . . . age! Bah humbug.
