AI Diplomats Bug

I recently started playing TATW and noticed something odd. A Dwarven diplomat approached one of my settlements and did the animation as if he was trying to negotiate with me, but no window popped up with his terms?

And now everytime I end my turn he tries to negotiate but nothing happens. Its just a little annoying having a diplomat trying to do his diplomacy thing but nothing ever happens.

Can anyone help me out?

I can't really help you but I can tell you that the same thing happens in Vanilla M2TW and in Kingdoms and in TATW as well, happened to me as well when I started TATW but I'd gotten used to it after M2. However this isn't a big problem really and (for me at least) eventually he goes away.

Welcome to the TWC forums!

It has been suggested that the diplomat is attempting to bribe the settlement, though I cannot confirm this. Since the bribe attempt fails, there is no action to report.

Now at turn 57, was previously at turn 23, the Dwarven Diplomat is still there haha.

I have also read before that this is a bribe attempt, though as Stylix said, I have never seen any confirmation.

You can however, get the diplomat to leave you alone. (it is annoying to have that interruption every turn) Send one of your own diplomats to engage him, and even if nothing is exchanged/offered/demanded the diplomat will wander off and leave you alone.
