i found america in the top left corner of the world but i cant go to them is that normal

Did you go there by ship or did you just toggle_fow and took a look at it?

you just need to wait for "The World is Round" event which happens at ugh, around turn 200 if I recall correctly.

One has to wait for the world is round event in order to make ships capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

After that event:-
In the building called Dockyard(Doesn't need the world is round event to build)

• You can recruit Caravel if playing as Spain or Portugal.(Needs the world is round event to build)

You can Build Naval Drydock(Needs the world is round event to build)
And under this building:-

• You can recruit Carrack for east euro,north euro factions and for Byzantium, Papacy if playing, sicily, milan and Venice.
• You can recruit Caravel if playing as Spain or Portugal.
• You can recruit Grande Carrack if playing as Spain or Portugal.
• You can recruit Baghlah if playing as an Islamic Faction.

All these 4 ships mentioned above have the capability to cross the Atlantic ocean.
These are all Heavy Warship types and are the most powerful in M2TW.
Also from the above info you can easily see that the Spanish and Portuguese have the advantage to reach the New world before any other faction.

Cheat way:-
Click on an admiral see his name say Admiral Doyle.
Then open the console and type:-

create_unit Doyle carrack

Separate the carrack from rest of the navy as they can't cross Atlantic ocean and reach Americas early with an army etc.

I agree on everything, but you can disembark from anywhere in the area to reach Carribean or Micosukee. The spot you circled is the only place you can disembark on the aztec's lands.

That's the only relevant area anyone would want to land in vanilla, profit you see.

Not true, there's like one tobacco resource in the US and a gold in Brazil.

Aztecs part of the map has the max profit & there is no need to go anywhere, you got 2 gold bars lying near fortaleza (Brazil) so not worth going there.

I was giving the route historical and gameplay wise you don't get the video cut scene until Aztecs are visible "Aztecs Contacted" one. That's the only reason one would want to go there as this happens very late is game and by that time you have enough money and power to complete the game and pawn any AI faction.

I remember when i first reached the Americas (with Poland, if i remember corretly), i sailed firstly to Brazil, and went up to Mexico. I got pissed because, for like 5 turns, i couldn't find a place to disembark the troops. Then i realized the only place you could do it was in the north of the peninsula

But i agree with Ishan, North America and Brazil are of little value in comparison to the Aztec Empire, even if they have great resources (gold and tobacco), by the time the player gets to the Americas, is expected you have a sizeable empire, producing a lot of money.
