Patch version & other stuff

Hi all, how can I tell what patch version I have on an installed game? I looked through all the menus, etc, while in the game & couldn't find it. I think I have it patched to 2.1 but I'd like to know for sure. Also, is there any way to fix moving artillery into wooded areas? A lot of the time it isn't even a wooded area but it still tells me I can't move artillery into a wooded area. Thanks.

Not sure there is an easy way to tell if it is 2.1 or 2.1a, however if you just install 2.1a, it will overwrite any older files anyway if that's the version you want to be on.

There is no way to move artillery into a wooded area and due to the way in which some vegetation types are created so although it doesn't look wooded, the underlying tile "thinks" it is wooded. In these cases, in the same way as tiles that actually show as wooded, you can't move artillery through them. There is no way to change this other than losing the awesome look of the vegetation and ending up with crappy old RTW style veg

I think I have 2.1a installed & I'm in the middle of a game so I'll leave things be.

Yeah, the veg is way better in RSII than the vanilla, I was just wondering if it was a fault with my install.

Letters and words mean different things around the World. For instance 'root'. I guess in the USA you would 'root' for your team. In Australia it means something entirely different - it means to have sex, the Brits would use 'bonk'.... Anyway, once on a flight to North America I saw an attractive blond woman wearing a red sweatshirt with in large white letters the word 'Roots'........ I just wished I had my camera with me......

Well, it's not really bitter as a UK residant would understand it it's more of a dark larger.

One that used to happen when I was living in Perth (WA) up to 1989 was that each state had it's own beer. Western Australia had Swan Lager, Swan Premium and Emu Export, Queensland had XXXX (it's really not Australian for beer), Victoria had VB and I think NSW had Fosters (or it may be another Victorian beer). South Australia had West End and Coopers.

Personally I fond West End to be a foul tasting beer. On my first trip to Adelaide for the F1 GP in 1985 I felt a bit embarrased by using a hotel's toilet for 30 minutes and I bought a West End. Never again. I fouund Cooper's Sparking Ale to be a decent drink - they finished the fermentation process in the bottle so there was always sediment in the bottom.

I understand that. VB to me means Visual Basic a programming language. My favorite band Ac/Dc which means alternating current\Direct current actually means bi sexual in Australia I believe(the bands actual homeland). In Spanish the word Mulla means a Mule. But in my native language(Farsi) which is Iran it means someone who is a complete absolute moron.
