Questions regarding Templar units

I read previously that there were many who wanted to remove certain Templar units from the Crusader States for rebalancing reasons. Are squires, zweihanders, bowmen, and heavy spearman still available for the Templars in 6.4 after the Council of Troyes event?

Yes.

Your question would make more sense if it was "before the Council of Troyes event".

The reasons are not so much of balance but of historical accuracy.

Well those units aren't so unhistorical with the notable exception of the zweihander,even the TO doesn't have a zweihander unit.

Actually some units are close to accurate but most of the units are not very close to what the crusading orders would have actually used. This has been discussed before.
