I have been recently made aware of 2 online academic resources using digital mapping for the Late Antique/Early Medieval Period

There is an amazing depth of research here which - in my amateur wanderings - I have only begun to scratch in terms of its surface.

I though I should bring everyone's attention to them who is interested in accurate mapping and more information in this period!
