Crème tangerine and Montelimar,A ginger sling with a pineapple heart,A coffee dessert, yes, you know it's good news,But you have to have them all pulled out,After the Savoy truffle,Cool cherry cream, nice apple tart,I feel your taste all the time we're apart,Coconut fudge really blows down those blues,But you'll have to have them all pulled out,After the Savoy truffle,You might not feel it now,When the pain cuts through,You're going to know and how,The sweat is going to fill your head,When it becomes too muchYou'll shout aloud,You'll have to have them all pulled out,After the Savoy truffle,You know that what you eat you are,But what is sweet now turns so sour,We all know Ob-la-di-bla-da,But can you show me where you are?Crème tangerine and Montelimar,A ginger sling with a pineapple heart,A coffee dessert, yes, you know it's good news,But you'll have to have them all pulled out,After the Savoy truffleYes, you'll have to have them all pulled out,After the Savoy truffle. Assuming you are already set up for modding (unpacked, io file switch working)

descr_strat is located in the M2TW(main folder)\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign folder

    Change the top lines from:
    playable

    england
    france
    hre
    spain
    venice
    end

    unlockable

    sicily
    milan
    scotland
    byzantium
    russia
    moors
    turks
    egypt
    denmark
    portugal
    poland
    hungary
    end
    to :
    playable

    england
    france
    hre
    spain
    venice
    sicily
    milan
    scotland
    byzantium
    russia
    moors
    turks
    egypt
    denmark
    portugal
    poland
    hungary
    end

    unlockable

    end

The Teutonic campaign has Mongols as a starting faction, by the way. You can play the Mongols as you play any other faction.

BTW, Nice avatar. The Eastern Armored Horse in the game seems to be ripped off from this pic, which shows an Ottoman Spahi

Yes, if you make the Mongols playable by putting them in the "playable" section.
But as far as I´ve heard, you have to wait until the Mongol invasion before you can do anything...
    Same thing with the Timurids.

    about the mongols...

i cheated in the teutonic campaign an unlocked them (set them to playable and all that). I am huge on ranged units (mongols are great with those), so i started a hotseat campaign against a family member, them as rome me as mongolia. my kings purse was -2500 from the first turn in the game. is this just the mongols, or did the total war peoples design it this way deliberately, so that if you unlock the faction you will automatically lose? it infuriated me.

It's just the mongols, and another difficulty to overcome. It forces you to expand rapidly initially, and then go minimal on the armed forces while you set yourself up economically. Makes for a very challenging game.
