    Default Modeling/skining as we go.

I am currently learning to model/skin on my own. Im going not bad considering, But I only have basic tools/programs. Im awaiting my 3D MAX's arrival, Once here I was planning on Starting fresh and learning with some proper tools. Anyway the point to this is I want to learn and teach others at the same time how to model/skin (I dont mind if i look stupid in the process as long as it helps). This way we can start at the basics and go from there, People can bring up specific things that they are having problems with, Can share different ways to do things etc. What do you guys think? Is it worth spending my time on this or should I just Keep to my self and start learning?
If it looks to be worth doing I will Start in the next 2-3 days.

that is up in the post, It is for the people that want to learn to model and/or skin. There are a lot of people who find things alot easy to learn if they can get tips and tricks from people who know as they go. There is alot of posts that i have seen that go on about the lack of modelers and skinners, How can we learn if people (hint) make us feal dumb for trying.

So what did you intend to say in that post
Basicly just want to find out if people would like to learn through this from people who know, Or if im wasting my time and should just let everyone/ alot give up because it cost to much for courses or it is to intimidating once the program is on or What ever the reason.

Well if you are just learning the program yourself how will you be able to give others lessons? Profs modelling tutorial videos are probably the best way to help you learn modelling.

His vids are for 3ds max 7 and are designed for RTw modding, look in the tutorials and walkthroughs section. He also goes through each bit step by step and teaches you how to do many useful things. Also, if you lok around this forum you will see i answer many peoples questions about 3ds max when they ask, i try to be as helpful as possible.

He's talking about the modeelling vids, they were posted a few months back but by an expert on 3dsmax, and they are tailored to help you learn modelling for RTW.

The abbreviaton tw in halie satanus's post was for your name Town Watch, it just used the first letters of both names. Normally TW meants Total War as in the gaming series. And just look through the tutorials section, you will see a thread called "Profs modelling Tutorials videos 1,2 and 3" released or soemthing like that.

    And closed by request.
