    Default creating new factions

    I have read MasterOfRome's tutorial on creating new cultures, however, I am still confused on how it relates to creating new factions in BI. What I would like to know is: Is it possible to create a new Playable faction? and if so, How?

    All that I know is that if you want to create a new playable faction, you have to either delete or modify and existing one. Sadly, the game is hardcoded for only 21 factions. Hopefully they will change this for M2TW, but with Rome we are stuck with it

    I think you have to modify already existing ones to create a new one, but that might not be true because of what some of these guys have done with the mods with campaign maps and new factions. As long as you stay under 21 factions and make sure you got everything, it seems like it should work.

    I've never seen or heard of any. You should ask some one who has made their own factions before and see if they can help.

    In BI only 17 of the 21 faction slots are used, so you can add in 4 more, but it is long hard work.
