Default Mexico is at war with the US.

It seems that incresingly the border patrols and police in border cities have been having to fight MILITARY regiments on the border with Mexico. What these military are doing, trafficing drugs, illegals, whatever, is really unknown but guesses are made. ALL the border counties have been asking the government for assistance but to no avail.

It seems George "Benedict Arnold" Bush and the traitor wing of the Republican party choose to ignore the fates of these people and allow the highly corrupt criminal mexican military free reign on our borders.

IMO we should simply do aircraft and helicopter strikes on these people or even go as far as to DECLARE WAR on Mexico for such an insult. EVERY request for assistance is responded to the sheriff's departments with an INSULT while their officers are dying. Any time in the past this would of incited war with the country, obviously with the traitor George "Benedict Arnold" Bush in office and treasonous congress in power nothing will be done.

My question is WHEN WILL SOMETHING BE DONE!? Is our traitor-president and his equally treasonous congress (dems and reps) willing to do NOTHING? The anwer: yes.

    War on drugs: lost
    War on crime: lost
    War on Mexico?: losing rapidly

Seems our government is as inept at winning our wars as the French are said to be. However with a traitor as president its kind of hard to accomplish much..... When was our last invasion by mexico? It wasn't in the 1800s, their military crosses our border on a daily basis.

"It seems" that this is happening. May I please, if you so wish, be provided with proof for these claims?

Just build a large wall along the entire border, man it with troops, and gun down all the illegally entering people. That should teach them to ask before entering.
The resources exist, but the will does not.

Yeah, because it's stupid, un-American, and incredibly sick.

For a land of the free, I don't get how putting a Great Wall of Mexico is going to make us more free. North Korea does that kind of ****, do we want to be like North Korea?

Problem being is that the mexicans have built tunnels under the border. (yes its true, there were images and a report/newspaper article on these boards a few months back on it)

Mexico is bordered with redneck country..let the texans camp out on the border with those guns you all have..and just take down anyone trying to get across (apparently this is already happening now..according to a documentary my friend watched the other day)

Can we also lay off the French, any comments this way shall be summarily shredded. This topic is about alleged US failures on various 'wars.' Thank you - imb39

Woah woah....wait a second...I was aware that there was an illegal immigrant problem in the U.S. (especially the southern U.S., countries that border mexico) but Ive never heard anything like what you describe. Roaming bands of Mexican infantry? That not only sounds ridiculous, it sounds implausible as well. Were they also riding burro's and firing sixshooters while tipping their sombrero's and drinking tequila? I have never heard anywhere that the Mexican army is violating our border laws and coming and goin at will, causing a ruckus and pillaging and looting and pissing on the American flag, which is what you make it out to sound like.

There is no war...and for you to label it as a war compounds the problem. Americans really love that "war" thing, we gotta declare war on everything...its getting pretty embarassing quite honest. I'm with Bill, I'm Swiss.

It is true. Mexico isn't exactly, uh, full of "Untouchables" if you know what I mean. Border patrols were in firefights with what appeared to be mexican army troops, although its entirely likely it is drug lords...

Until Mexico actually delivers a declaration of war, they are not at war with the United States. Simple as that.

Easy, look at the protests of the border counties or simply look on google or any news site. Its not "seemingly" happening, its factual.

Farnan posted a report. I heard of this recently from relatives that live down their, apparently its a HUGE issue and people actually fear for their lives. Its not all across the border as well, it varies from area to area, some areas are more troublesome than others.

I saw the proof. This is disturbing. Do you think that a semi-legalization of drugs or at least de-criminalization of drugs would help stop this problem?

The thing is that the Mexican military will probably do anything for money, they are known to be corrupt. If we solve that problem they will start people trafficking then, instead of drugs, thats if they dont do that allready.

Making drugs legal obviously would solve that problem as they would ship over in trucks and ships instead of in secret, lol. However that is controversial.

Can we just try not blowing S^%& up for once? Lets just try it.
Yes, i know. The problem is getting a congress that isn't filled with morons as it is now (democrats are even WORSE than republicans on this issue).... as of now they just want to appease corporations and mexican voters.

a very bad reason to let them in. Besides it was the Spanish who actually took that land from the Indians in the first place, so that argument doesn't really hold water.

    anyway back on topic

My uncle who lives in southern California says that the border police do get into gun fights with "coyotees"-the smugglers, which is not hard to believe, but as for the Mexican military? Im not so sure...

I find it funny that the Mexican soldiers are catching illegal aliens ... AFTER they cross the US border. Instead of, y'know, having a border defense of their own and keeping their citizens in their country, they cross OUR border to get THEIR people back who they couldn't keep from leaving in the first place.

Yes I know who land was taken from and that was the Native American indians. That has nothing to do with the subject though that is in the past.

Ah, the old chestnut about us taking land from Mexico. Well sir, the population density in the West was pretty thin during Mexico's reign. And if we want to split hairs, who did Mexico take it from? And who did the Indians take it from?.........

Most of all, if Santa Anna hadn't literally torn up the Mexican constitution and helped incite a rebellion in Texas, maybe we wouldn't have taken any land. But I don't think you'll get any tears from me on account of us taking territory (making our borders eminently more defensible and contributing to the peace experienced for years to come by all residents of said territories) from a two-bit dictator trying to get away with as much as he could.

And of course the Mexican troops attacked the U.S. soldiers-wouldn't you? The president couldn't afford to look weak in the face of the U.S., who was very much hated by most Mexicans then (now?) that was one of the reasons that historians think Villa attacked Colombo in N.Mexico, becuase he wanted to force the president (it was Carranza I believe) to act.

Villa went on his bloody rampage in America AFTER the US supported his opponent (Carranza?) for prez...for revenge and spite....not to force his opponent into solidarity, becuz his opponent now enjoyed US support

Funny that Jefferson was hated at the time for his decision to launch an undeclared war against tyrannical Muslim regimes capturing and enslaving Americans and trying to force tribute, yet history redeemed him......

Funny that Lincoln was hated, with more than half his party turning on him in the run up to the reelection, for launching a war against the "poor agrarian South" designed to make big bucks for his military/industrial Northern cronies, who were piling up the dough supplying the Union forces, and for trying to free a people that most would have thought incapable of self governance......yet history redeemed him.......

Funny that many hated Wilson, FDR, and Reagan, yet history has done them some good too eh?

One wonders what the record books will say in 100 years about the President with the stones to follow through on his speech, and who was willing to open Pandora's box because he wasn't stupid nor pussy enough not to. The Middle East 100 years hence would have nearly exactly resembled the Mid East of today, but no more. Now, there is potential for great improvement, and at worst then we simply have to face the worst case scenario sooner and more prepared than otherwise, and on our terms.

Don't forget "War on Terror" on the lost list. Most of the time, the reason their military crosses the border to capture possible immigrants. Declaring war on them wouldn't solve anything. They aren't attacking us, they are doing something without proper clearance. However, it isn't always possible or beneficial to achieve proper clearance.... Like when you see an illegal immigrant running over a fence. Just grab them instead of filing and application that won't be filled out before it is useless.

i'm not sure about army roaming and traffiking drugs but i do know crime down here is terrible. i mean we have "actual" moles here who give haven to people from matamoros. **** my aunt  drives them around while they scout cars to steal back to mexica and hides "literal" hundreds of illegal drugrunners and suppliers a years. its no surpirse. we should not "liberate", conquer their asses back to stone age.

p.s. i'm sorry about the language i just get sooo angry at my stupid family for doing these things. i have uncles, aunts and cousins in prison for that stuff...they just don't learn. :disgust
