I'll assume that I failed the last civitate vote because of my open hostility towards the more "intellegence challenged" members of this forum, to put it lightly. What about me has changed from last time?
Nothing really, because the circumstances have not changed. The only thing that has any hope of changing is your opinions regarding me, so first off all I ask you to put political bias aside. I'm quite possibly the only person left on the forum who's a complete and utter leftist, and now that Drak's gone over to the other side, don't you feel it would be good to ballance him with someone just as fanatical (if not as devoid of sanity) as him?
Having said that, you must look at the potential benefits and pitfalls of every appointment made, and what have you got to lose by appointing me?
My power as Civitate would be nothing special, with the large number of them around here, and easily revoked by any higher member at the first sign of any trouble coming from me. I really have no more potential to damage this forum as a Civitate than I do now, and have had for the past... years and a quarter?
Apparently I had spent far more time here than I thought, and with the exception of getting a bit too involved in debate, have yet to do anything that really sets me apart in a negative way.
And your potential gains?
A staff member who is competent, and a forumer who is more courteous and helpful to others (I intend to act dignified on behalf of the staff) as well as a man in who's personality it is to follow orders.
If all else fails, remember, so very recently I have blessed you all with a thread which is perhaps the epitomy of intellectual discussion and philosophical thought [he is reffering to the pants thread]

So, I have decided to offer patronage for RusskiSoldat. My main reason is that he is one of the few quick, intelligent, conversational members we have which is not limited to only a section of the site but rather likes to roam, while also mantaining a sharp tongue and a some witt to combat the rather simple minded forumers we sometimes have around. He has contributed to the Thema Devia, Vestigia, he used to be active in RTW discussion and will surely be active in MTW2 related topics. Basically, a good guy which I see no reason for having to fail a second Civitate vote.
