excuse me for possibly asking a basic question,but how do you get a screen shot of in game action?

hit the "print screen" button. After you take the screen, you will find the screen in the "tgas" folder in your main RTW folder

The print screen button on your keyboard, and then minimize the game a paste it in a paint program. But sometimes the game will save the srceen shot in a tga folder in your rtw install in of course tga format.

you hit print screen sys rq(top row of keyboard on the right) while playing or during pause, then when you quit the game go to your tga folder in rome total war folder and open the tga in whatever graphics program you have.to put it on the forum resize to 640x480 pixels, open image shack upload it to there select the size option and they give you a code, copy and paste the code to the forum hey presto your screen is up.

as two trigger happy folk beat me to it i'll add if you get a black screen it's because of the anti alias setting's in your rtw options, i can't remember if it should be on or off but if your shot is black it's the other one :laughing:

Make sure you save it as a .PNG because it loses none of the quality and keeps the file size small.

You need to have anti-aliasing off. Otherwise you get a static screen.
