You may want a more modern card. When I was researching which card to get, earlier this year, I saw the GT9400, 9600 and 9800 recommended by some people, but many others said the drivers could be a problem. I'm assuming nVidia have or are stopping producing the drivers.

I could be completely wrong though.

That card was launched nearly three years ago. It can handle light and older games but it won't play anything really fancy.

What exactly are you looking for performance wise?

hmm i see.Well im looking for something that would do good for "fancy" games such as Napoleon/Shogun
and that would handle something a normal laptop would.I dont want on to be strict gaming only

EDIT: *PC noob* really,i know absolutely nothing about computers

it depends on how much you want to spend, and how much performance do you expect.

You can get a great gaming laptop with the NP8150 packing the 6990m (its a 6870), or you can get a uber gaming laptop in the m18x with 2 6990m. The first comes at close to 1500, and the second can be found close to 2300.

btw the gt 9400 is so lame that my laptop with a 4670m was able to stomp it.

i live in the Republic of Moldova. 800 dollars is about 9.100 MDL our curency, and man, thats simply a crazy amount of money. You can 2 average PC's with those money

An average PC here costs somewhere between 40 and 60 dollars. So specs like the ones above should cost me around 100 dollars, thats a pretty big sum too.
But again, thanks for the specs, and the money issues im going to somehow resolve it

in here thanks to the ridicule thing that people call the US congress, the dolar has been down in value, its a tremendous impact, all due to the their reelection. however the prices of the imported goods, is still the same currently, when new stock enters, it will go down.

When I bought my mbp 13, I paid 2200 dolars for it. thats how the prices here are.

Sincere advice, try to build a desktop, with some cheap parts like the 5670 a phenom II processor, and 4gb of ram, an enough HDD, and a cheap mobo (high end mobos are expensive here, 3-4 times the price in the US, I expect the same for you) and get a cheap netbook, import it from the US its generally way cheaper than to buy locally, I recommend a e350 equipped one.
