P.S upgrading from Geforce FX5900xt

The firts thing I think is that your FX5900Xt is an AGP card and that card is PCI-e. Second I think that a 256MB version is cheaper and has the same performance.

Get that 7600GT if its avilable in UK, it cost the same but performs better. Also get the cheaper 256MB version, 512MB makes no difference, theres no games out there right now that need 512MB.

Theoretically in some games 512MB will be a tiny bit slower, because higher capacity memory chips need higher timings, just like the system RAM.

try this uk shop... it's cheaper and reliable... a mate of mine upgraded his rig there at the beginning of the year I'll do the same near MTW2 release date... the VCs ur after are the same i am ;-)
