Where are portraits in SS?

Hey,
I was about to change some portraits, and normally they would be in SS folder /ui/*culturetype*/portraits right?
But only portraits that are there, are in /ui/easter_european/portraits/pagan_priests. Wtf? Where are rest of the portraits (I'm looking in particular for princesses, generals etc portraits) ?

Try that, in there I had a link to a series of postings that allowed you to change some stuff... if you read further on you'll see I was reluctant (and still haven't done it), while another guy I pointed in that direction did go thru with it and it turned out to be relativley easy

If files aren't there then the default files are used. The ones in the vanilla pack files.

I will unpack files from game folder, but my question is now, once i change/edit them, how will i make them to work in game (with SS)?
Should I just put them in right place in SS folder and they'll run instead of main game files?
