1400: Epiphany Rising (failed attempt of removing Henry IV of England from the throne by the followers of Richard II)
1400: The Holy Roman Emperor Wenceslaus is deposed from the throne because of his illness and old age and the Count Palatine Rupert is elected as new emperor.
1400: Owain Glyndŵr is proclaimed Prince of Wales and attacks the English in the North West of Wales.
1400: Manuel II Palaiologos is the first (and last) byzantine emperor to visit England.
1401: Timur raids the city of Baghdad in the Jalayirid Empire.
1401: The De heretico comburendo Act is passed in England, as the Archbishop of Canterbury pressures King Henry IV of England into outlawing as heretics anyone owning an English translation of the Bible.
1401: Dilawar Khan establishes the Malwa Sultanate in present-day northern India.
1401: Grand Duke Vytautas of Lithuania is granted increased autonomy by King Jogaila of the Poland–Lithuania union.
1402: Battle of Bryn Glas, Cymru (Wales) vs Kingdom of England.
1402: Battle of Caslecchio, Ducato di Milano (commanded by Gian Galeazzo Visconti, the duke) vs Florence and Bologna.
1402: Battle of Ankara: An invading Timurid Dinasty force defeats the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I, who is captured. A period of interregnum begins in the Ottoman Empire with the future Mehmed I as one of the leading claimants to the throne.
1402: September – Penal Laws against Wales. The English Parliament pass the Penal Laws against Wales. The Laws stopped the Welsh from gathering together, obtaining office, carrying arms and living in English towns. Any Englishman who married a Welsh woman also came under the Penal Laws of 1402.
1402: Battle of Homildon Hill: Kingdom of England vs Rìoghachd na h-Alba (Kingdom of Scotland)
1410: Battle of Grunwald (Tannenberg): Królestwo Polskie vs Ordo Theutonicorum.
Battle of Agincourt (1415): Kingdom of England vs Royaume de France.
Annihilation of the Kingdom of Naples (Naples, 1441): Reino de Aragon vs Regno di Napoli.
Siege of Constantinople (1453): Osmanli Devleti vs Βασιλεία Ῥωμαίων.

I'm very happy to tell you that the heights map is finished, thanks to Baxon7's resource:

Because we have the map heights I'll start working on the remaining parts to work on (climates, reigons, etc.).

No. Arquebus will show in 1450 but gunpowder artillery will be available by the start of the game. There will be not only crossbows but even bows: the Welsh and English armies will have more archers than crossbowmen and the Ottomans and North African rebels will have some archer units, even Novgorod and Byzantium will have archers (principally mounted).
Pikes will be the main part of the Western-Central Europe (HRE, Burgundy) armies and from 1450 the Swiss Pikemen will be available.
Cavalry will be in great number for France and it will always have an important part in every army (except Scotland, Leinster, Wales).
Crossbows will be in great number as mercenaries (Genoese).
The armies (especially the Continental armies such as the HRE, italian states and France) will have to use mercenaries to fill the gaps in the lines because in this period (especially for France, that has lost a lot of men in the war against England) there was less manpower in Europe.

No. It was a Sultanate before it conquered Byzantium, then it became the Ottoman Empire.

Awesome, thanks for the clarification. But in the map you showed, is the purple in greece and Constantinople region the East Roman Empire? I thought when Constantinople was conquered, the rest of the empire just turned into city states, like the Holy Roman Empire in the 18th Century.
