You have to edit export_desc_units and export_building I think. Make a back up before trying to do that because I am not sure.

okay first you have to go to export_descr_unit.txt and put gauls on the ownership line of evey unit you want them to have. then go to export_descr_buildings.txt and put gauls in the the brackets next to where is says requires faction.... this goes for the buildings oyu want them to have and the units. if you want a unit to be able to be produced in a different building than it is currently in then just copy and paste it under the new building or buildings. (when you do this make sure you only put gauls for the ownership or other factions will be able to get them)... if you need some examples give me a specific unit and the building you want it able to be produced at and ill show you...

this part is optional... go to the text folder and go to export_buildings.txt and copy and paste the text from the factions building that you gave to the gauls over the spot the barbarians have for it... it should say this "WARNING! This text should never appear on screen!"....

the next part is optional to, you need to get the extractor tool and place it in the packs folder then copy the unit cards and info pics from their faction's folder and paste them in gauls folder in "data/ui/unit_info or units(depending on which one it is)/gauls"... im not very good at explaining, especially without an example to show you but i hope this helpes you out some way... remember the last to parts are optional, if you dont do it you'll just end up seeing that warning text for buildings and the units will have the peasant unit card and info pic... good luck

oh and most of the files in the game have to be in a very specific format or it will crash before the activision logo movie comes up... be on the lookout for spaces and empty lines which you can easly spot out if you just highlight the section of the file with your mouse... just basically use some common sense and make everything have the same format and you should be ok... just ask if you need more help

backing up is always the smart thing to do and especially when its your first time modding

any misplaced commas or spaces could lead to crashes so be very careful.
