No 1.5.. WHY?

Why will RTR not feature a 1.5 version of 6.0???? Is unfair since no one wants 1.2 AI when we can have 1.5 AI and features plus it isn't cool to be forced to by BI! Please port RTR 6.0 (newest version) to 1.5!

No I don't. since 7.0 won't be for 1.5 but for BI.. and that will force me and other players into to unfair decisions;
Buy BI, or stop playing RTR.. since 1.2 AI is so damn crappy compared to the much better 1.5.. And to be honest I can't really se how it should be so complicated for the RTR team... Just not fair towards us that dosn't have BI!

No I do not; but I can't see why RTR shouldn't since almost every other non BI mod is doing this! That's why!

The RTR devs are concentrating on 7.0 which differs greatly than current one as it is base on BI. With MTW2 coming, they are in full gear now.

As to the 'simple job', well unoficially there's a group of rtr players (including me) who is in the process of porting RTR gold to RTW 1.5

Do I really need to justify that for you? 1.5 and 1.6 have nearly all the same features and the small diffrences dosn't make up for $10.. and most of the peps here are using 1.5...

Though I accept that 7.0 wil be for BI, I can't see why 6.3 shouldn't go over to 1.5...

1.5 and 1.6 "have nearly all the same features" because I think the developers made a mistake, and released many MANY of the BI features for use with 1.5. For example, 1.5 received for free all of the 1.6 version animations and skeletons, even some which were clearly designed only for BI such as the "chariot ballista" one. Another example are night battles where 1.5 added the content and game functionality to make them playable. So it was a mistake in favor of YOU 1.5 guys that you got so many features that we paid for, for free. You shouldn't complain if BI people get even a few benefits.

Not in my country, here in Brasil BI was not published so everyone who want's it and its mods needs to import it I am glad to know there is an effort to adapt RTR to 1.5 hope that when it is done, RTR team announces it in its net page too

Because i doubt RTr mod team have time to work on 7.0 for BI whilst converting an entire, older version of the mod to 1.5 at the same time.

Oy, plz tell me how much the A.I. has improved. Especially these points:
1. Does the A.I. stop attacking you're far more powerful empire for no other reason than that you BORDER each other?
2. Does the A.I. stop attacking you despite being involved in 2+ other wars at the time.
3. Does the A.I. stop demanding rediculous sums of money, or even all of their territories back as well in exchange for a ceasfire, even though you have 4 full stack armies converging on their pitiful 2 territories and 1/2 army that's fighting one of those 2+ wars?

the BI engine is just better. Get over it. Why make 2 versions, a good one for 1.6, and a sub-par one for 1.5? Waste of time. Just save up a couple bucks and by the expansion, man.

We have now make the custom battle avialable, but the setback is the campaign still caused CTD.

ive been waiting a while for a 1.5 version too but $10, what you moanin about. in England its still like £20 just for BI when gold is £30. use ebay if you dont want to spend money lol. you can get it sometimes for about £5.
im stuck with gold at the minute but it does not bother me having to wait for mods to release a 1.5 version.

Agreed. There's multiple mini mods specially for RTR Gold which you can try and play in case you're bored with the 'vanilla' RTR Gold already.

Don't be selfish man, they have been slaving their asses of for a few years to make a completely and 100% free modification of the crappy, in comparison, R:TW vanilla, and here you are whining like a little kid because what? Because they choose to FREELY add in the new features of the expansion, FOR FREE.

People like you disgust me, you dont deserve to use R:TR for free, In my opinion.
