OT: Stannis Fan Thread (Spoiler Alert)

So what is your opinion of what will happen to Stannis at Winterfell? Personally, I think the Karstarks will send him reinforcements and the Manderly's will ride (or roll) over to him. I do not believe him dead.

Finally a Stannis Fan Thread. R'hllor knows he deserves one.

I don't believe him dead either. He's too good a commander to fall for the likes of Ramsay, or foolishly attack if he can't win.
He knows about the Karstark Treason, so either they go over to him, or are expected at knives end. And if the Manderly men play their cards right, they can just backstab the Freys once they found the Kings encampment, suffering minimal losses.
Now that's a very lucky outcome, ofc, and i doubt that all will go that well, but it's possible.

In any case, i firmly believe that our unsmiling, teeth-clenching King of Frowns is still alive and clenching

The interesting question would be wether he has taken Winterfell - or what's the reason for Ramsays letter

I believe that the Night's Watch men were mad at Lord Snow for helping the Wildings so they were trying to cause him grief, and he fell for it. As long as Melisandre lives, Stannis will not fail. I sure hope Manderly makes the right decision, although it involves leaving the seven behind (I will not capitalize those false gods). The Lord of Light will triumph!

I was wondering the other day whether some of Stannis's northern support might melt away now that they have "Arya". one of the main reason the northern clans sided with stannis was to rescue ned's little girl and they have sort of done that.
