Thank you very much Holy Pilgrim, that solved my I-cant-install-it problem. I also didnt notice the different file names. I have downloaded it several times and received an error message every time

Is there a unit editor for Call of Warhammer?

When I try to modify the stats directly in the /export_descr_unit.txt, the game will not load due to a "fatal graphic error"

When I try to use BMTWTS, only the Empire entries come up.

    Any ideas?

The links are working, the last download was 5 hours ago. Please try again.
I once had to clear my cache to get the link.

I have not edited the mod's EDU, so I would not know about possible errors. You might want to try this tool: Easy EDU Editor
Maybe open your own thread in the bugs forum here and we can try to work on it.

I looked in the log and there are a lot of the following sort of things:

    17:45:50.714 [system.io] [warning] open: data/battlefield/cloud_sprite.tga.dds is missing
    17:45:50.920 [system.io] [warning] open: data/models/textures/weapon_phalanx_spear.tga.dds is missing
    17:45:51.503 [system.io] [warning] open: data/textures/battlefield_border.tga.dds is missing

Does this mean I've installed the mod incorrectly? There's a lot more textures that are being found than are not, but obviously some that aren't, which would explain why I played up to turn 20 on the strategy map but can't play for one second on the battle map

    Gigantus,

I have done both but it isn't working. The moment I start a custom battle it exits the game. I also have tried doing campaign but it will not go past the single player menu. It says "Please select a item from the list" when there is nothing to choose.

    Thank You,

My bad - I hadn't noticed that RapidShare put different names. Will see if I can correct that. Added a note to the installation instructions.

Yes, I have checked it and it works. I was playing as DE for 15 turn without any CTD. However I don't have DE symbol on banners on strategic maps. There is Horde symbol from vanilla instead(You probably removed too much also I have voices of DE (also from vanilla) but I didn't have in "original"1.4.4. I'll check if any CTD will happen but for now it's ok (only this DE symbols worries me a bit).

what do you mean by that? How can I tell if they are the same or not, I have redownloaded it 3 times and it still doesn't work. Thanks

    - Fixed incorrect banner symbol for Dark Elves (Gigantus, Krystoforos)
    - Corrected 'wonky' sounds (The Holy Pilgrim)

Unfortunatelly there are more problems with banners. Kislev has Lituania symbol from vanilla, rebels the same (have more time to check others). Here You have all banners files(except textures folder) from COW 1.4.4.

I did not change\delete any strategic banner symbols as far as I can remember.

    DE = Dark Elves = mongols = standard_index 8 = top left of symbols3.tga (data\banners\symbols3.tga)

It is indeed the old mongols symbol - see first attachment. This will not cause any CTD. Do you have a graphic with the correct symbol? Else I could use the symbol_48 graphic (second attachment) and replace the Mongol one in symbols3 - or perhaps someone could post it here?

This is the symbol from "original" COW

Weird that it dissapeard in Your version. Maybe COW Team could attache correct one or You could serach it in "original"files?. I'm glad that for now there is no CTD and small problem with banner is nothing in comparision with it.

I think it was a TGA.DDS file where the original (old) symbol was on - and as such a duplicate. As I said: it will not affect the game. I am sure I can get the original from somewhere. Unfortunately I removed the original files (installer and unpacked) two days ago as I was running out of disk space. I really have to get that 1TB external drive...

Here You have symbol2.tga.dds file. I see that You have no tga.dds files at all...so where to copy it now?

I know that it should have no affect to the game.

Thanks for the info - fixed it.

Simply extract the file (symbols3.tga) into data\banners. Result see spoiler.

No problem. I'm glad that I could help. Thanks for Your work. Maybe Your version is a solution for some CTDs. We need more reports.
